Initiatives for Environmental Impact
The fashion industry has been identified as an industry with a very large environmental impact in terms of energy consumption for manufacturing and annual waste, which has become an international issue.
One of the environmental measures surrounding jeans is the growing movement to recycle them. Approximately 480,000 tons of clothing are incinerated or disposed of in landfills each year, which is equivalent that the volumes of approximately 130 large trucks are incinerated or disposed of in landfills every day.
To prevent Wa-Denim from becoming a part of this and increasing the burden on the environment, we will take back unneeded Wa-Denim free of charge.
The Wa-Denim will be donated to countries around the world that are in need of clothing due to poverty, natural disasters, and conflict relief through the Japan Relief Clothing Center (NPO).

In addition, those who send us Wa-Denim will receive a 25% off coupon that can be utilise to purchase new Wa-Denim, as we would like you to continue to wear Wa-Denim.
If you would like to pick up your Wa-Denim, please contact us on line or through the inquiry form.

Wa-Denim promise to contribute to passing on the Japanese traditional culture to the future and to showing it off to the world through the planning, manufacturing, sales, and purchase of brands.
